A site I'm a bit surprised hasn't been mention is Cheap Ass Gamer (www.cheapassgamer.com) To me it's been amazing at spotting deals and snagging some amazing things that you'd otherwise never realize even showed up as being on sale. I found infamous when it was still new for $30, fallout 3 GOTY at $30 and a shlew of other deals. It lets me know when the rogersplus has buy one get one free on their cheaper used games, which I've picked through a few times and bought 6 games for $60 +tax total, and then traded in at EB Games/Gamestop for 2 brand new games. (Sneaky sneaky cheap new gamezors)
As for Goozex, I've taken much advantage of their gift card sales. I generally can't get games to flip at the same value as their sales. The first time I bought 10k points, this time 20k which I've used over 1/4 of already. Who doesn't love getting games in the mail? If you're smart, Canadians can cover their butts just as well as the americans. So far I've minimal problems sending games, and no problems (aside from the occasional person not sending a game) getting games. People not sending games is covered by the Goozex Guarantee and is AWESOME! The only unfortunate part is I can't build my sega/snes/nes/older collections there. However I understand their reasoning that batteries die and people would take advantage of that.
Anywho. All in all, cheapassgamer and goozex are by far two of my favourite gaming sites. 8) Have fun and good gaming!

Goozex was one of the best things i have ever stumbled upon. So long as a user does his research before joining, they can get a lot out of their experience. I have only bought 3 or 4 games in the past 2 years since joining and received 200. I never would've tried half the games i have played or really even have had the oppurtunity to do so without Goozex (My Savings are currently in the thousands). You mention the community being top notch as well and that is definitely the case. With weekly game nights and a USUALLY friendly environment, it's a great place to go if you have a question or just want to unwind and talk about gaming... or sandwiches. The more articles like this, the better as it is going to draw even more people into the site.

I always enjoyed the endings of the last 5 or 6, but they just didn't compare to the first 6 IMO. I agree with you about the characters, that seems to happen often. There are just so many important characters that they always seem to feel the need to get them in there SOMEHOW.

As far as timing, I understand Sanderson is a different worker than Jordan, and is on track to release the second book in the first week of November 2010. I'll believe it when I see it, but I have my fingers crossed.

And Brian, you are officially the first commenter! :)

While I didn't loose as much interest or find the second half of the series to be as dreadful as most people did, Brandon Sanderson has jump started the final sequence in a way that I am not sure RJ would have. I agree that this book from chapter to chapter had action and a sense of urgency to it that pulled you from scene to scene.

To also not play the role of spoiler I will talk in generalities... but, I thought he added pieces in that were not needed only to have the character in the book. While he was okay with leaving other characters out of the book all together. The book itself, I agree, was amazing. The only problem with the series, at this point, is that we will now have to wait a year+ to continue the story.
